(Zhip X Heavens Im Good) being shown by new owner, Jamie Herigstad of Montana. She purchased him in the spring of 2009 and started prepping him for LL events. She successfully showed him in LL his yearling year and now shows him sucessfully in several events.

We bought "Duke" a resell project horse when he was a yearling. After breaking him and starting his show career, we decided he needed to stay! :) He has succeeded in several styles of riding and with different riders. He loves to goof off and keep us on our toes (like most geldings do!), but he knows his job and gets it done right.
Unfortunately, Duke suffered a bad pastern break somehow in the pasture and had to be euthanized on March 1, 2025. He was only 10 years old. He is buried at the farm.

"Rosie" (Deceased)
Grade Quarter Horse Mare
We added Rosie when we were looking for another kids horse and she did not disappoint! She was a solid horse for any job - horse shows from showmanship to jumping to games; trail riding and elk hunting in the Black Hills and Colorado.
Rosie passed away in 2024 of old age and is buried at the farm.
Show Career
Rosie and Ella were the Jr. Jr. Reserve All-Around winners in 2017 in the AAHA curcuit.
Rosie and Ella were 5th place Jr. Hunter Over Fences at the SD State Horse Show.

Heza Renegade (deceased)
1992 AQHA Gelding
When Amber was 14 yrs old, she started "Renegade" as a 2 yrs old. They started winning classes that year and never looked back. Renegade won countless awards throughout the years for Amber, Isaac, Jacob, Abby and Ella. He was the "go-to" horse for everyone in our family until he retired. He later passed away in 2020 at the age of 28. Renegade is buried at the farm.
Show Career
Numerous All-Around awards with Amber in 4-H and AAHA shows.
Also won each of my 4 kids their first belt buckle in 4-H Showmanship and 4-H All-Around awards.
Isaac - his first year in 4-H, he was Res. Champion Jr. Western Showmanship (50+ entries).
