Kolousek Farms hosted a Farm Mass and Theology On Tap Talk with Bishop Donald DeGrood on August 11, 2024. Bishop's talk was on "Faith and Farming", reaching out to farmers near and far and from all faiths. He talked about the value of the farm life, a farm family and the struggles that come with being in the industry.

Kolousek Farms' hosts an annual family pheasant hunt

For several decades, Kolousek Farms has hosted family and friends for a pheasant hunt on the opening weekend of South Dakota's pheasant season. Several generations of Kolouseks gather on the 3rd weekend of October to see family, play cribbage and dice games and walk in the corn fields at the farm.
