Ella Kolousek's

Nigerian Dwarf Goats

The goat herd started with a few goats for Abby's FFA project in 2017.  She grew her herd over time, raising both registered and commercial Nigerian Dwarf goats.  Abby has now graduated high school and her younger sister, Ella has now bought the herd and taken over Abby's program with a focus more on registered stock.

Nigerian Dwarfs are a domesticated dairy goat that originated from West Africa.  They are known for their good-tasting milk, but the breed is also known for making great pets and 4-H / FFA projects.  They are a hardy breed that is easy to care for. They thrive on weeds and are great for cleaning up weeds around yards and can improve pastures.  They are a very social animal and make great companions for other livestock.
